Dear Ageless Traveler,

This week’s Travel Tuesday is, without a doubt, the most exciting newsletter for me. It’s the first one that is being disseminated to my colleagues on LinkedIn. I am also excited because the Global Coalition on Aging issued a report that Travel Is a Catalyst to Healthy Aging. That’s why I started The Ageless Traveler to make Lifelong Travel Easy. Still, it’s great to get confirmation that by traveling, especially together, we gain more healthy years while seeing the world.

The report emphasizes that benefits accrue from regularly traveling. The Ageless Traveler slogan, Never Stop Traveling, is a path to better health.

In this week’s newsletter I support you to travel more regularly. In addition to our podcast and articles, I give you tools for affordable, active travel:

  • Saving money with generous discounts on cruises and hotels
  • Active Travel with new interactive maps to keep your moving.
  • Wine and culinary advice from an expert
  • How to spot fake currency when traveling
  • And, of course, our incredible safari to Africa in September.

Please don’t hesitate to ask me about what we offer or any travel questions. I have been to 127 countries so far and have probably traveled to where you plan to go and have first-hand experience. Also, I have a battery of experts standing by to support you. Just leave a text or voicemail at fanlist.com/ageless traveler.

PS. For those not yet fully familiar with what we do, The Ageless Traveler is the only podcast catering to the mature traveler. We offer a podcast on Apple, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and all disseminators, free eBooks, blogs, a YouTube channel, and a Facebook Salon. We are also co-founder of Ageless Tourism, AgelessTourism.com, a network that promotes better methods to attract, retain, and serve older travelers.

#2. Travel Is a Catalyst to Healthy Aging

The Global Coalition on Aging issued a report that Travel Is a Catalyst to Healthy Aging.

I’ve always believed that travel is more than just a leisure activity as we age. Travel makes us healthier physically and cognitively, allows us to meet new friends, thwarts loneliness, and nurtures a curiosity that never gets old.

Now, scientific research shows that “Regular Travel is linked to a 36.6% lower mortality risk and up to a 47% reduced risk of Alzheimer’s disease through activities that promote movement, cultural engagement, and community connection.”

The report emphasizes that benefits accrue from regularly traveling. The Ageless Traveler slogan, Never Stop Traveling, is a path to better health.
