Dear Ageless Traveler,
I am anxious to let you in on a secret. Uganda is a sleeping giant of a travel destination. After almost two months of travel in Europe, UK and South Africa you find me at Murchison Falls in Uganda. Of course there are game drives to see almost all of the Big Five…no rhinos. And you can visit the impressive Falls. Better yet, cruise down the Nile River for two hours to spy crocodiles and hippos. Yes, Uganda offers the real life adventure portrayed at the Disney Jungle cruise.
With so much to report and so much to share I feel I need to talk to you.
The Ageless Traveler podcast will be two years old on November 16th. I started it when I turned 75 and this week I celebrated my 77th birthday in Jinja, Uganda at the source of the Nile. My mission is to make places like Jinja easy for you to see and also motivate you to travel the world at any age with family, solo and friends old and new.
Two years ago I promised myself that I would design an information hub to give you tools and motivation to never stop traveling. Since then I have learned what helps you and what does not.
My current thinking is that you need an easy way to ask your travel questions and get answers that knock down your barriers to travel. To that end I am researching live streaming so that we can actually talk a few times a month. I want to know if you would tune into a live zoom to ask questions and meet my guests personally. Send your response by email to adrianegberg@gmail.com
In the next three weeks I will track your response to whether a zoom meeting is of interest to you. At the zoom you can meet each other, share travel ideas, ask me and a guest questions. Please send me your emails by October 18th.
For this week, I am excited about my podcast with a travel expert and doctor who has developed brain health and culinary travel for cognitive strength and improvement. It is a unique topic perfect for The Ageless Traveler.
Stay tuned for new and expanded features as we start our third year.
