Dear Ageless Travelers

Do you read travel books?

I have two great ones for you. My favorite travel-related book is a novel by Patrick Dennis, the author of Auntie Mame. The book is Around the World with Auntie Mame, where Mame goes to Paris, London, Biarritz, Russia and Lebanon. The other is Travels with My Aunt by Graham Greene in which a very sophisticated aunt spends madcap time in Turkey.

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to stay at the same hotel mentioned in the book, the Pera Palace, in the Greta Garbo room. Take a chance, read this hilarious romp, and let me know what you think, fanlist.com/agelesstraveler

We’re heading on a safari to Kenya and Tanzania!

Visit The Plains of Africa September 14 – 27, 2025 with an Optional 5-Nights in Tanzania

Check out our featured travel page for full details on our Big Five safaris. From daily game drives to the finest food, attention, and accommodations, this is the safari of a lifetime.

Speaking of costs, I was surprised by the pricing of most safaris, especially those tailored for The Ageless Traveler. The incredible Colette’s itinerary comes at an extraordinary price of around $5000. Air transportation and pick-up at home are optional at an additional cost.

Join us for a free event on March 12th, the launch of a technology Hackathon where high school and college students offer solutions to global problems.

This fourth Hackathon showcases incredible solutions like a water-cleaning drone and an app that magnifies small print or reads barcodes. If you have “ limiting beliefs” that are holding you back in any area of your life, glean inspiration from these amazing young innovators. It’s free and supported by the International Federation on Aging.
